Let’s Enter the Church

Let’s enter the Church,
There is Christ in the tabernacle,
In front of three special places:
The Ambon, the altar and the preside chair,
To remind us that He Himself
He is a prophet announcing the word,
He is priest offering himself in sacrifice
And he is king presiding the celebration.

Let’s enter the Church,
Recognizing the sacredness of that place,
Where Christ has revealed Himself in the form of bread,
Where his word speaks to our heart,
To live in unity with the gift of his love,
To make us live the gift of being a body
United to the head that is the risen Christ
To encourage us with the Holy Spirit.

Let’s enter the Church,
Aware that we arrived at the sanctuary
Where Christ receives us with his mercy
To transform us and give us his forgiveness,
To heal from the wounds of sadness,
To encourage us to be witnesses of his love,
Living as brothers and sisters
At the banquet of his Eucharistic gift.

Let’s enter the Church,
Coated for a great celebration,
With the dignity of the children of God
To receive the graces of your life and your light
What we carry in our simple souls
Like mud pots full of treasures
That give souls the gift of eternity
Illuminating life with the gift of holiness.

Let’s enter the Church,
With songs of true praise and cry
May it help us strengthen our faith,
To awaken hope in Christ Jesus
And to live love with works of charity.
Let’s enter with respect and willing to pray
So that God may receive us with his blessing.
