Gabriel’s Wings Alfredo
Serves: 4
Preparation: 25 mins
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of farfalle pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. Heat water in a pot for pasta and then cook pasta according to instructions. When pasta is cooking, make alfredo sauce.
2. Add olive oil to a saucepan over medium heat and heat for 2 minutes
3. Add onion and garlic to pan and saute for 5 minutes
4. Add the seasoning and stir
5. In a large skillet, heat the butter and cream over low heat. Stir constantly and slowly as it cooks until the cream mixture is hot and lightly simmers for at least 2 minutes.
6. Add the contents of the saucepan with the seasoning, garlic, and onion to the cream mixture.
7. Once mixed, add in parmesan cheese and stir.
8. Serve sauce over pasta and add black pepper for a final touch!
