Knots of Love Ministry
Join others on Thursday mornings in Classroom 3, JPII Building from 10:00-12:00 for fellowship, and to knit or crochet prayer shawls that are given to Transitions Hospice of Wake County, our homebound ministry, and others in need. NO experience needed. Groups members are happy to instruct. Donations of yarn are always welcome and may be brought to the parish office during regular business hours, or to the Knots of Love meetings on Thursday mornings.

Stories from Knots of Love
With every knitted and crotched stitch, Knots of Love ministry spreads the warmth of God’s love to those most in need in our community.
I spoke with a single mom with 3 children that frequents our parish food pantry recently and she was in need of a space heater. She lives in a home with a tin roof which has been quite cold when the temperature dips into the 30’s. She had been heating her home with the kitchen oven. We made arrangements to provide her with a space heater but in the meantime because of Knots of Love, I was able to give her knitted prayer shawls to use for warmth.
Please pop in on Thursday mornings when they meet from 10 am to noon and see their artful work. Who knows, the ladies might teach you a stitch or two.
